Who Are the Main Characters in GTA 6?

The main characters in GTA 6 (also written GTA VI) are Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval. They are the two GTA 6 protagonists, and Rockstar tells the story of both. In the story, an easy score goes wrong, and they have to rely on each other to survive a criminal conspiracy across Leonida, Rockstar’s version of Florida.

So who is the main character in GTA 6? There are two, not one. The story follows Jason and Lucia together.

Lucia Caminos

Lucia’s father taught her to fight when she was very young. She went to Leonida Penitentiary for protecting her family, and she got out by sheer luck. Now she wants the good life her mom has dreamed of since their days in Liberty City.

Jason Duval

Jason grew up around grifters and crooks. After a stint in the Army, trying to shake off his troubled teens, he ended up in the Keys working for local drug runners. He wants an easy life, but things keep getting harder. Meeting Lucia could be the best or the worst thing to happen to him.

Jason’s Circle: Brian Heder and Cal Hampton

Brian Heder

Brian Heder is a drug runner from the golden age of smuggling in the Keys. He still moves product through his boat yard with his third wife, Lori. Brian has been around long enough to let others do his dirty work. He lets Jason live rent-free at one of his properties, as long as Jason helps with local shakedowns.

Cal Hampton

Cal is Jason’s friend and an associate of Brian’s. Rockstar says he feels safest at home, snooping on Coast Guard radio with a few beers and some private browser tabs open. He is a little paranoid, and happy about it. Jason has bigger plans.

Vice City’s Music Scene

These new characters live in Vice City’s club and music world.

Boobie Ike

Boobie Ike is a local Vice City legend. He turned his time on the streets into a real business empire: real estate, a strip club and a recording studio. He is all smiles until it is time to talk business. What matters most to him is Only Raw Records, which he runs with Dre’Quan. Now they just need a hit.

Dre’Quan Priest

Dre’Quan is more of a hustler than a gangster. He dealt on the streets to make ends meet, but breaking into music was always the goal. He has now signed Real Dimez, and his days of booking acts into Boobie’s strip club may be numbered, because he is aiming for the Vice City scene.

Real Dimez (Bae-Luxe and Roxy)

Real Dimez is a rap duo. Bae-Luxe and Roxy have been friends since high school. They turned their time shaking down local dealers into cash with rap tracks and a lot of social media. An early hit with the local rapper DWNPLY lifted them. After five years and a lot of trouble, they are now signed to Only Raw Records and hope lightning strikes twice.

Raul Bautista, the Bank Robber

Raul is a seasoned bank robber. He is always looking for people who will take the risks that bring the biggest rewards. His recklessness raises the stakes with every score. Rockstar says his crew will soon have to double down or walk away from the table.
