The GTA 6 cast is one of the most searched parts of the game. It is also the part with the fewest facts. Rockstar Games has named eight characters for Grand Theft Auto VI, but not the actors who play them. This page shows what is known, who has spoken up, and what to ignore.
GTA 6 Cast: Quick Answer
Rockstar has not named any voice actor for GTA 6 so far. That includes the two leads, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos.
Two actors have said on their own that they are in the game: Stephen Root and Jim Santangeli. Neither has said which character he plays.
The full cast list may only show up in the game’s credits. GTA 6 comes out on 19 November 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Who Plays Jason in GTA 6?
Rockstar has not named the actor who plays Jason Duval.
You will find a few different names online, and they do not match. One site says one actor. The next site says another. That tells you nobody outside Rockstar knows for sure yet.
Until Rockstar or the actor says it, we do not list a name. You can read more about the man himself on our Jason Duval page.
Who Plays Lucia in GTA 6?
The same is true for Lucia. Rockstar has not named the actress behind Lucia Caminos.
Many fans have guessed, based on her voice in the trailers. None of these guesses came from Rockstar or from the actress herself. See who Lucia is for her story so far.
Actors Who Say They Are in GTA 6
Only two actors have spoken up so far. Both said it themselves. Rockstar has not put their names on any cast list.
Stephen Root
Stephen Root is well known for his voice work on King of the Hill. In September 2026, he told the Associated Press that players will see him in GTA 6. He said his voice gave it away, because so many people know it. He did not say which character he plays.
Jim Santangeli
Jim Santangeli played Simon Pearson, the camp cook in Red Dead Redemption 2. In a livestream in June 2026, he said he did some work on GTA 6, but only a very small part. Game Rant reports that he also had a small role in GTA IV back in 2008.
How to Spot a Fake GTA 6 Cast List
GTA 6 is a huge game, so fake cast lists are everywhere. Use these four quick checks:
- Who said it? A real cast name comes from Rockstar or from the actor. “Fans think” is only a guess.
- Big stars, no source? A list full of movie stars with no quote is often made up.
- Do sites agree? If three sites give three actors for one role, nobody knows yet.
- Check the date. Some pages still say GTA 6 comes out in 2025. If the date is old, the cast info may be old too.
When Will the Full GTA 6 Cast Be Known?
Rockstar has not said when it will share the cast. The most likely place is the game’s own credits, which may list every actor once GTA 6 is out.
We will update this page as soon as the credits can be checked. For launch details, see the GTA 6 release date page.
